Hello lovely,
I’m back with part 2 of my postcard series (I think I’ll make this a new feature for my travels). This week, get ready to indulge your imagination in the Tuscan countryside.

After two days in Florence at the end of April — check out part 1 here — I was whisked off to a small village in Tuscany called Monteriggioni for a creativity retreat with Emma Gannon & Aweventurer.
Located in the province of Siena, Monteriggioni is a quaint, Medieval walled village that plays host to a castle, beautiful artisan shops, restaurants, and bars, and dates back to the 13th century. History pours from its very walls, and if you ever find yourself amongst the Tuscan hills, I would highly recommend a visit.
Our villa was located just on the outskirts of the village and held its very own kind of magic. Ebbio will hold a place in my heart forever.
Once an old, crumbling farmhouse, Ebbio was transformed into a sustainable, organic farm that hosts retreats, weddings, and unique getaways.
Nestled amongst the olive trees and the surrounding forest, Ebbio holds its own piece of history as it sits atop an extinct volcano, and overlooks the endless rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside.
I feel incredibly grateful and honoured to have spent even a pinch of my time there, a place where time stood still for a while amongst the wildlife and nature that lies at the very heart of the farm.
One of my favourite and most memorable parts of my five days there has to be waking to the sound of birds (and the proud rooster), heading down to one of the many verandas, and allowing my pen to flow as I journaled to the backdrop of one of the most calming landscapes I have witnessed.
Being surrounded by the sheer expanse of nature whilst there has only made me feel even more grateful for the nature I am surrounded by back home. I guess it’s true what they say — travel is transformative and grounding.
Absolutely loved seeing the glimpses here and also on IG! You can just feel the peace and the warmth of the sun through your photos 🥰 Also, the food!! 🤍
It all looks so gorgeous and I am so glad you had a lovely time! Definetly adding Tuscany to my bucket list, the countryside and architecture just look so magical. 😍✨️☀️
